Abstract : In insects Nezora viridula (male) free amino acids of haemolymph were determined qualitatively by two-dimensional paper chromatography and there after quantitatively by Spectrophotometer. Fifteen amino acids were detected of which Glutamine occurred in high concentration followed by Glycine. The concentration of all free amino acids decreased gradually after one and two hour malathion treatments.
