Abstract : The TLC scan of the gut content amino acids of C.chinensis larval instars (I-IV) has provided an unique picture of moong host specific biomolecular profile. The gut content mashurrette in 80% methanol as the extraction solvent was processed through the Thin Layer Chromatography (Willson & Walker, 1999, Sharma, 2003, Bobbit,J. and M. Mikes, 1972, Bobbit, S. & P. Mikes. 1998) for accurate separation & isolation of amino acids. The no. of isolated spots in the gut content shows instar specific (I-IV) variation due to the enzymatic constitution of the developing larval gut which is responsible for breakdown and synthesis ( metabolism) of the biomolecules, procured from the host protein.  All plates were exposed to the standard BAW separation solvent and 2% Nin-hydrin as location  reagent.
