Shoot Induction Studies on Cardiospermum halicacabum Linn.

Abstract : Different concentration of phytohormone affected for induction of shoot in Cardiospernum halicacabum. The nodal and leaf segment were cultured on Murashige and Skoog medium supplemented with (2, 4-D), 2, 4-Dichlorophenoxy acetic acid for callus induction. The callus were transferred to MS medium supplemented with various concentrations of (BAP) Benzylamino purnia, IAA and KN for shoot regeneration in combination.
