Abstract : The present paper explains that the hydrogen ion concentration was always alkaline. Dissolve oxygen were abundant during the course of examination through the whole month of the year 2007. The phosphate was recorded to be nill or negligible. Total alkalinity were varied in between 129 to 149 ppm. Chloride concentration was also low during the investigation. The aforesaid ecological parameters confer the possibilities of integrated management and culture of catla catla, labeo rohita & sirrhinus mrigala.
