Abstract : This paper presents the important results of the physio-chemical analysis of the ground water samples of the bore wells of the Vaishali district during the session 2008. Three different ground water samples of bore wells around Vaishali district, (North Bihar) have been analysed regarding their suitability for useable purpose. The samples were analysed for various physico-chemical parameters like Appearance, Odour, Turbidity, colour, pH, conductivity, total hardness, total alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, chloride, fluoride, iron, nitrite, nitrate, sodium, potassium, free ammonia, sulphate, phosphate, TDS, and Tidy’s test. The result reveals that most of the physico-chemical parameters we reported within permissible limits except sample 3.
