Ethnomedicinal values of some indigenous plants for treatment of skin diseases in Mandar block of Ranchi District, Jharkhand

Abstract : Medical ethnobotany deals with the nature and application of plants used traditional medical systems. There has been increasing interest in recent years in traditional herbal medicine particularly “tribal medicine”. There are number of herbs which have come to light in the recent years with miraculous therapeutic effects. Medical ethnobotany deals with the nature and application of plants used traditional medical system and it involves the identification of plants used in traditional remedies. In this paper a survey list of some traditional plants used against skin diseases is being along with their curative values.
