Abstract :This paper presents the important result of the two ponds, namely Lalpokhar, Dighi, and Tajbajkha Pokhar, Hajipur during the year 2010. Intraspecific and interspecific interaction between the organisms largely influence their vital processes like growth, nutrition and reproduction. Considering its great importance as fish-food, the survey of the fauna of the ponds was made and their seasional fluctuation recorded. Insect larvae and oligocheats are the main components of the bottom fauna of the ponds, which shows irregular variation.
