Abstract : Jharkhand is well known for its swelling floral diversity enriched with diverse medicinal properties. A meticulous study on the management of herbal prevention of malaria is the need of hour in this area as it is malaria prone. Plectranthus mollis (Aiton)Spreng. , a common weed of Jharkhand is found remarkably effective in repelling mosquito vectors of Malaria in its natural form.
