A new record of Asteraceae from Ranchi, Jharkhand, India

Abstract : A studyon species diversity of Asteraceae flora of Ranchi District was done by the authors. A total of 67 species belonging to 45 genera were collected and identified. Synedrella nodiflora (L.)Gaertn., a naturalised weed,is reported for the first time from Ranchi District of Jharkhand.
