 Abstract : Acute 96 hour’s bioassay experiment of combined exposure to Copper and Mercury were conducted for fish Channa punctatus (Bloch). The fish were exposed to one fifth of LC50 dose of combined metals (Copper and Mercury). The combination exhibited synergistic toxic effect on fish. A significant decrease was observed in blood serum, Na+ concentration, K+ concentration, Cl concentration and protein concentration.
