A discussion on the validity of nematodes P. chakravartyi (= N. heteropneusti Chakravarty et al, 1961) & P. confusus (Fernando & Furtado, 1963)

Abstract:  The authors have discussed the status of P. confusus Fernando and Furtado (1963) and the validity of N. heteropneusti Chakravarty et al 1961 (= P. chakravarty0 vis-a-vis P. spiculogubernaculus Agarwal, 1958. They have reasons to consider P. chakravartyi to be valid and rejected the synonymy of P. confusus with P. spiculogubernaculus as suggested by Sahay, Sinha and Singh (1970).
