Studies on ethno-gynecological medicinal plants of Ranchi district, Jharkhand, India

Abstract:- Ranchi district of Jharkhand is a tribal dominated district and is Ethno medicinally rich area, the tribes and ethnic knowledgeable persons are aware of the gynecological disease prevailing in this area among women and has traditional knowledge of healing them by utilizing plants and plant parts in a particular manner. In the present paper after extensive survey and research work 41 plants/plant parts commonly used by Ethnic people have been enlisted with their botanical description and method of administration.
