Physico-chemical analysis of Hanuman Dandi and Arambhda reef in the gulf of Kachchh with reference to macrobenthos

Abstract : Qualitative and quantative analysis of fauna and flora (macrobenthos) inhabiting in Hanuman Dandi and Aramhda Reefs in the Gulf of Kachchh were made for three seasons in a year upto a period of continuous two years. Certain ecological parameters including geographical locations were also considered and recorded to make an idea about species existence according to the data analysis. A significant corelation was also calculated in the form of similarity index separately for flora and fauna of the two sites in each sampling survey.
