Survey and documentation of some anti-malarial mosquito repellent plants used by tribes of Jharkhand

Abstract : Jharkhand is Malaria prone region .In core villages people have no option other than herbs to protect themselves from mosquitoes. With the approaching rains, the knock of Malaria becomes frequent in interiors of Jharkhand encircled by rich vegetation. Only remedy is in repelling vectors by use of such plants affecting it. Therefore the present survey has documented six such plants[in the year 2008 to 2010] along with the methodology of their application.
