Aquatic Biodiversity of Victoria lake of Lohardaga (Jharkhand), India

Abstract: A study conducted on Victoria Lake from the year 1994 – 2008 has revealed the total of 38 aquatic and semi aquatic angiospermic species  of the lake, belonging to 23 families and 31 genera. Out of those 12 families belong to dicotyledons having 14 general and 18 species whereas 11 families belongs to monocotyledons, having 17 genera and 20 species.
