Abstract: Trigonella foenum graecum L. is a much branched, herbaceous, annual spice yielding plant.  It is with English name fenugreek and Hindi name methi which belongs to family Fabaceae.  The present work involves the mutagenic effect of biological extract upon seed morphology of Fenugreek seed.  The mutagen used in leaf extract of Catharanthus roseus which belongs to family catharanthaceae.  Apart from summarising the literature on the subject other aspect i.e seed morphology was studied during the course of the experiment.  All the observed data have been collected in the laboratory for studying seed morphology.  Dry, fresh and dormant seeds of fenugreek was treated with 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% concentration of leaf extract of Catharanthus.  The morphological observation was made on different parameters i.e on the basis of seed germination and growth of shoots and roots. So,on this basis the effect of different concentrations on seed morphology of  Fenugreek seed was studied.
