A new interpretation of the causative factors involved in the population dynamics of Lytocestus indicus in Clarias batrachus (L.) in Chotanagpur

Abstract : The incidence, intensity, density, dominance % and index of infection of Lytocestus indicus are generally high during May – June whereas high intensity in July in both male and female fishes. The authors have new interpretation as to why the above parameters show peak in May/June/July.
