Abstract: Broiler chicks were fed four types of isonitrogenous and isoenergetic diets containing varying percentage of Silk worm (SWP) Pupae Meal to observe the effect of SWP on growth performance. Significant difference in livability and growth performance was observed which could be attributed to the dietary SWP levels. This study revealed that profitability and growth performance was significantly higher in Group-III chicks as compared to Group-I and Group-IV chicks. The result of this study demonstrated that cheaper SWP could be an excellent substitute of costly protein concentrate in formulating diets for broilers to increase profitability.
