Abstract : In insects Nezara viridula (Male) free amino acids of haemolymph were determined qualitatively by twodimensional paper chromatography and there after quantitatively by Spectrophotometer. Fifteen amino acids were detected of which Glutamine occurred in high concentration followed by Glycine. The concentration of all free amino acids decreased after one hour Rogar treatment and also after the two hour stage.
