Abstract : The present study was to evaluate Lebaycid stress symptoms in fish in fish blood during long term exposure of sub lethal concentration of Lebaycid (an organophosphorus). It is a compound of the composition of (Fenthion,Xylene,Nonylphonol Polyglycol , Ether). The effect of Lebaycid on various haematological parameter were evaluated sub- lethal concentration of Lebaycid (4.5 PPM) for different periods. Lebaycid showed a significant decrease in the haemoglobin Hb% count from 9.5 to 6.40%,R.B.C Count from 2.82 to 1.33(*106/mm3) and packed cell volume (PCV) from 28 to 19.2 % at the end of 16 days as compared to control where as the white blood cell (W.B.C) decreased from 6000 to 2000(*103/mm3) Lymphocytes from 90 to 57 %,Heterophills increased from 6.1 to 40%, Monocytes decrease from 3 to 1.1% ,Eosinophills increased from 0.9 to 6%, Mean corpuscular volume (MCV) increased from 99.290 to 144.360 (cμ) , Mean corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH) increased from 33.68 to 45.1(μμm), and Mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration (MCHC) from 33.93 to 33.68%.
