Abstract : The percentage occurrence of certain insects of two rivers Lara & Sewani have been carried out for a period of one year (Oct 07 to Sept 08). It has been found that river water of Lara is conducive for Mayfly, Dragonfly, Beetles and Daphnia where as Caddisfly, Simulium, Cyclops and crayfish flourished well in Sewani river.
