Study of iron deficiency anaemia among different educational strata of pregnant women

Abstract : An iron deficiency anaemia is caused when an insufficient amount of iron is absorbed to meet the bodily requirements. It occurs primarily due to lack of proper knowledge about the dietary requirements. Among illiterate women its prevalence has been found to be alarmingly high.
