Introduction: Studies on pest succession in Jatropha curcas were conducted at the experimental research farm. Department of forestry, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Raipur(C.G)  during 2004 – 2006. In this investigation weekly observations were recorded on Jatropha for different types of insect pests. Results clearly indicated that Jatropha was found to be infested by Blue bug Chrysocoris purpureus Webber Pempelia morosalis Blotch minor Stomphosistis thraustica and coccids (unidentified).
