Resveratrol’s myriad biological activities and interest: A brief review

AbstractOrganic legacy of testing, evaluation and exploration is an influential tool for discovering bioactive with distinct structure and action mechanism. Resveratrol is one amongst the foremost investigated bioactive compounds.Findings have provided mounting proof that resveratrol, a dietary polyphenol, might confer health benefits and may defend against a variety of medical conditions and age-related complications. Studies have shown that resveratrol possesses several bioactivities and health advantages like anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects, in the treatment of cancer, liver diseases, diabetes, obesity, Alzheimer’s sickness, and Parkinson’s sickness. Throughout this review, efforts have been made to survey the newest advances about bioavailability, toxicity, health benefits, and resveratrol-drug interactions studies. Additional bioactivities and health advantages of resveratrol ought to be evaluated, and more clarification of the underlying mechanisms of action is needed. In this perspective, this report focuses on the actions of resveratrol treatment in combatting diseases, like cancer, diabetes, neurodegeneration, and various age-related ailments, with the aim to develop resveratrol into functional dietary supplement and drug.
