Abstract : Hematological observations like haemoglobin percentage, Total RBC count and Total WBC count in an infected cat fish, Heteropneustes fossilis were conducted for three consecutive years i.e. from June, 2006 to May, 2009. In the study, the fresh water fish was found with multiple infection by parasites viz, a digenean trematode, a nematode and numerous metacercarial cysts. There are marked changes in the colour of blood and the Total WBC count.
