Abstract : Exposure of the larval specimen of L. rohita in LC 50 concentration of Ekalux EC- 25 should histopathological lesion. disintegrated condition of the gill epithelia at some positions (Depicting loss of continuity), proliferation of the cells at some sites showing bulge towards the tip region of some secondary lamella indicated setback in the breathing capacity. Loss of compactness in the hepatic cells accompanied with dissolution of the intrahepatic tissues, the oedema formation due to disintegration of the tissues in some positions indicated turn over the liver mass to an almost non-functional condition, Damages occurred in the kidney as well but the structural alteration were less spectacular. In physiological sense, the excretory, osmoregulatory metabolic and digestive activities were severely affected.
