Abstract : The study of disease expression of three cultivars of barley “Karan 4”, “BAU2205”, and ‘BR-32’ was done for assessment caused by Pseudomonas marginalis. Some aspects of pathology of this disease like method of inoculation, disease development in different inoculums density and recovery of the bacterial population from disease tissue in different scales has been presented here. The best inoculation method was achieved with hypodermic syringe method. The High inoculums concentration of 106 CFU/ml induced highest disease incidence. A good amount of the bacterial recovery was at scale 2 in cv. ‘Karan-4`.
