Prevalence of Dental Fluorosis in different age group of people living in Barbatta, (Sonepur) Saran district of Bihar.

Abstract : Fluoride which is a acute toxic chemical compound, with a rate higher than lead, result’s crippling fluorosis. In India, out of 28 existing states, 18 states were severely affected with fluoride toxicity, and Bihar is one of them. Fluorosis is a major health problem in many part of India. A door to door survey in Barbatta Village in Sonepur (Saran district of Bihar), reflect a case of dental fluorosis as recorded from all the different age group of men and women. The severity of fluoride can be seen when starting from its minimum to maximum value.
