Medicinal uses of Terminalia spp. of Chutupalu, Jharkhand, India

Abstract: All the species of Terminalia  are widely distributed in the forests of Jharkhand. Ethnobotanically they are of great importance. The aborigins have been traditionally using them as drug source for different ailments. The drug properties are fair and wide. In action they are aperients, antipyretic, attenuant, astringent, digestive, laxative, narcotic, ophthalmic and tonic.
