Conservation and management of a wetland gastropods Pila globosa (Swainson)

Abstract : Altogether seven species of gastropods were recorded from literal zone of the Chapra Bazar Samiti wetland. Pila globosa was the abundant species among the gastropods. There is brisk exploitation of Pila globosa from the wetland for commercial, nutritive and pathological purposes. There is an urgent need for conservation and management of this species.
