 Abstract: Acid rain has been a serious problem in the past century. It is the consequence of the industrial revolution. Nitrogen dioxide and sulphur dioxide produced by the combustion of fossil fuels dissolve in rain water causing acid rain. The acid rain affects animals and plants adversely and cause damage to marble monuments. Acid rain can be controlled by taking certain measures. This research paper deals with chemical analysis of wet acid deposition near Patratu Thermal Power Station.
