Abstract : Effect of colchicine was investigated on two varieties of Trigonella foenum–graecum L. var. Local and var. NRCSS AM–35. The roots of both the varieties were treated with different concentrations of colchicine i.e 0.1%, 0.3% and 0.5%. Local variety was resistant while NRCSS AM–35 variety was sensitive towards different doses of colchicine.
