Abstract The present study was undertaken to know the morphology of the malpighian tubules Platycorynus peregrinus. This is a common AK-Chrysomelid beetle, commonly found on the Aseolpidase. This beetle is very common in and around Patna, Gaya, Hazaribagh, Nalanda and other districts of Bihar and Jharkhand on the banks of river during the month of July to November.
