Abstract : The present investigation deals with the purpose to examine the variation in protein content after the infection Alternaria solani in wild and hybrid tomato.

In humid condition Tomato attacked by a disease called “Early Blight Disease.” Symptom shows black infected area with multiseptate conidia which is dark brown, spindle shaped and very infectious as it causes destruction of entire plant. In this research it is investigated by taking the extract of fixed volume of tomato pulp (wild and hybrid) at definite intervals to study the Nitrogen metabolism i.e., about the variation in protein and amino acids, estimated after finding out the Optical Densit.
