Abstract : The present study describes the effect of 24-Epibrassinolide on growth characteristics, photosynthetic pigments content, elemental analysis and heavy metal uptake on plants of Brassica juncea L. under copper metal stress. The study revealed that there was an improvement in growth characteristics, pigments content and metal uptake under the influence of 24-Epibrassinolide treatments. In addition, 24-Epibrassinolide blocked copper metal uptake and accumulation in plants to a large extent.
