Abstract : Cardiospermum halicacabum Linn., is an important medicinal plant. The nodal and the leaf segment were cultured on Murashige and Skoog1 medium supplemented with 2, 4-D for callus induction. Callus production was highest at 5 ppm 2, 4-D.
