Cotugnia digonopora – a cestode from small intestine of Gallus domesticus from Lalganj, Vaishali, Bihar

Abstract : The state of Bihar owing to its topography and tropical climate conditions is a big reservior of helminth fauna. The fowl-Gallus domesticus of Lalganj, Vaishali were examined for cestode cotugnia digonopora from the small intestine of Gallus domesticus. Highest incidence of this species was found in the month of January while less incidence was found in the month of September.
