Abstract : Cytotaxonomy was done on four varieties of Trigonella var. Local, var. NRCSS Am–35, var. ML–150 and var. Rajendra Kranti. Total chromatin length (TCL) was found maximum in local variety and minimum in Rajendra Kranti. In present finding local variety and NRCSS 35 variety were considered advanced whereas, variety Rajendra Kranti is most primitive.
