Abstract : In continuation with the floristic study in relation to physico-chemical properties of equatic bodies of Patna, Scanning electron microscopic study has been made on selected taxa of angiosperms in order to determine the effect of altered environment on the pollen characters. The present paper deals with the pollen fine structure of eight species of dicotyledonous angiosperms with a critical survey of earlier findings.
