Abstract : Effect of Ethyl Methane Sulphonate (EMS) was investigated on two varieties of Pisum sativum L. (green and yellow). The roots of both the varieties were treated with different concentrations (0.1%, 0.3%, 0.5%) of EMS. Green variety was resistant while yellow variety was sensitive towards different doses of EMS.
