Abstract : The ecophysiological conditions of seed germination & seedling establishment of two Phyllanthus species viz. P. amarus & P. fraternus have been worked out through SDS-page in this communication. Seed protein bands of P. amarus ( 1,2,3) & P. fraternus (4,5,6) at their respective Rf values exhibit a close similarity between them associated with their prevalence in the similar ecological conditions.
