Effect of EMS on Seed Germination in Two Varieties of Pisum sativum L.

Abstract : Germination studies were conducted in two varieties of Pisum sativum L. (green and yellow) under the influence of EMS (Ethyl Methane Sulphonate) with three concentrations (0.1%, 0.3%, 0.5%). The green variety was resistant whereas the yellow variety was sensitive towards different concentrations of EMS.
