Meiotic studies in some species and varieties of Vigna

Abstract: In the present investigation, meiotic studies in ten species and varieties of Vigna showed that polyploidization had no impact on them. The variation in the nature of ring and rod bivalents indicated the greater degree of heterozygosity between the species and varieties under consideration.
