Prevalance percentage of enteric parasites in the human population of Samastipur town, North Bihar, India, on the basis of sex.

Abstract : Single stool samples of 20011 human subjects of the human population of Samastipur town were examined on the basis of sex and prevalence percentage was recorded. Out of a total single stool sample 20011 human population studied, 12110 samples (60.52%) were of male and 7901 samples (39.48%) were of female. The prevalence rate of total protozoan and total helminth parasite was higher in males as compared to in females.
