Abstract : State of Jharkhand is rich in flora & fauna constituting a high profile biodiversity. The prospects of recording the biodiversity in terms of species richness and abundance are enormous for the benefit of the human society & nature. The present research communication is an innovative attempt to bring on record the invaluable religious plants of Palamau District having age old sacred as well as medicinal importance.
